When building their new website we migrated the database of cakes they had produced and then tasked ourselves with developing a custom contact form. This form would allow users to select example designs and attach images of these to their contact forms, making it easier for the Cake Factory to produce exactly what their customers were looking for.
When we started working with The Little Cake Factory their website was ranking for their local area but they wanted to expand the areas that they covered.
As well as looking to be found by location we also wanted to improve the website for competitive keywords such as wedding cakes, birthday cakes & cake makers near me. All of the search terms have a high search difficulty but get much larger search volumes.
We have been working on developing a custom PHP script that automatically allocates page titles, meta descriptions and SEO fundamentals to their cake listing system.
The Little Cake Factory has seen over a 100% impression growth coupled with a 68% increase in website traffic ( 3 Month Period Comparison )
