AE Engineering specialises in crane hire, contract lifting and plant hire throughout the North-west of England. Owner Anthony contacted us to help re-develop their website and wanted help improving the websites search engine rankings.

After analysing their old website we found it was difficult for the users to find exactly what they were looking for, this meant the site had a higher than desired bounce rate.
To overcome this issue, we added a mega menu to the home page along with additional navigation sections and more call to actions, this was done to encourage people to navigate to their required service and contact AE Engineering to discuss their requirements.
Along with improving the user experience, we also introduced their new colour scheme to the website. The change was slight but made the brand stand out more.
One of the key requirements of their new website was to improve their websites search engine performance, reduce the bounce rate and increase their rankings for key searches within the crane hire, contract lifting and plant hire industry.
The previous website already had an SEO strategy in place, this strategy had worked for some of their keywords but the structure required tweaks and development to really enable their rankings to improve for their main keywords. This involved making adjustments to the page title structures and focused keywords.
After working on their website structure, we have seen increases in their key competitive keywords including top of page positions for crane hire & contract lifting in Manchester, Liverpool & Lancashire.
